A Halifax native with a wealth of industry experience, Karen spent the past nine years in Toronto, where she worked with agencies such as Y&R, DDB and most recently a four-year stint at Taxi. Karen's list of clients boast some big names: Ford, Telus, Canada Tourism, The Shoe Company and McCain. Karen's creativity broke her into the industry: she landed her first job by winning the Institute of Canadian Advertising's intern copywriting competition. But before long, her Maritime desire to forge relationships took over and she switched to the account services side. A closet craftswoman, give Karen a glue gun and some glitter and watch the magic happen. She even makes and sells her own ornaments! Whether crafts or brands, Karen loves to see projects come to life from a nugget of an idea.
